Seeking Registered Nurse!

Baptist Health Floyd, Vascular Access

Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm)

Benefit Eligible

Job Duties:

The vascular access nurse is responsible for inserting all PICC and midline catheters under ultrasound and for inserting difficult restart or new peripheral lines.

About the Unit:

The Vascular Access team is responsible for all central line care, troubleshooting IV catheters, monitoring IV assessment review and education for hospital staff related to IV therapy.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved nursing program, holding a minimum of an ASN

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required

National Certification in vascular access: VA-BC (Vascular Access-Board Certified) preferred.

Vascular access experience or high proficiency in IV skills preferred.
