DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Set up, trouble-shoot problems, changeand adjust tooling on the Fuji machines to meet blue print specifications,production and quality standards and to assure safe operations. Train other employees to operate Fuji machinecorrectly and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform as a team member of a cellularoperating group and respond to other employees and supervisor's requests andassist other employees as needed.
2. Handle all materials and tools and haveoperating knowledge Fuji tube form machines. Employee must be able to perform preventive maintenance, set up and makechanges adjustments to tooling and Fuji machines to assure the capability ofmeeting production and quality standards and operate safely.
3. Identify problems and apply effectiveproblem - solving skills and mechanical ability to take corrective action.
4. Use Lean principles, Quick ChangeTechnology, Total Productive Maintenance, and Material Flow to help our plantrun more efficiently.
5. Employee must perform his/her jobwithin acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performancestandards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable workinstructions.
6. Perform SPC on parts from Fuji and makeadjustments as needed
7. Identify weld defects and understandwelding processes to be able to accurately trouble-shoot welding problems anddefects.
8. Overtime as required/requested.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Set up, change and adjust tooling onthe Fuji machines to run different part numbers and correct production orquality problems to meet specifications and quality standards.
2. Trouble- shoot problems and perform minor repairs and adjustments on Fuji machines
3. Logchanges in tooling and Fuji machines into SPC computer system or chart.
4. Train new Fuji Operators on preventivemaintenance and proper use of Fuji machine
5. Ability to obtain fork-lift license in timely manner, which includes a medical certification by a Tennecoprovided medical professional, transport and load steel blanks andtooling as required
6. Operate overhead crane
7. Assistthe team in 5s advancement.

REQUIREMENTS:
CRITICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
* Knowledge and ability to operate all machineson all lines.
* Ability to set up and adjust alltooling and functions of all machines to make changes and adjustments to meetspecifications and quality standards of parts.
* Mechanical and Electronic skills
* Good math skills
* Knowledge and application of SPC,visual quality inspection and ability to use and read calipers and gauges atall machines and work stations on each line
* Ability to work on own without direct supervisionbut able to respond to directions and job assignments
* Work well with others on teams andthroughout the facility
* Ability to communicate effectively toMachine Operators, Team Leaders, Production Leaders, Engineering Maintenance,Quality, etc.
* Ability to trouble - shoot machine andtooling problems and take corrective action
* Flexibility to work long hours ordifferent work schedules and respond to problems, changes and job assignments
* Ability to work in a team environmentwith other employees
* Ability to read, write and understandwork orders, technical documentation and diagrams, directions and safetyregulations
* Employee must possess high schooldiploma or GED, must demonstrate mechanical skills, and sufficient ability toread, write and communicate to accurately complete production, SPC and otherpaper work and to work effectively with other employees
