The Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Intern will get exposure to tractor and planter new design development, CPM root cause analysis and resolution, and advanced hydraulic system development.
- Design Activities to support design, engineering release and evaluation of new designs and revisions to current hydraulic systems for Ag tractors
- Support activities for planters, seeders, tillage and compact and large tractors- including current product and new product launch
- Detailed activities include root cause analysis, current product improvement, supplier requests for change, participation in design reviews and DFMEA’s, support resolution of manufacturing and Service group requests, support test/lab activities
- Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Automotive,Auto-space Engineering, or related degree area
- Must have reliable transportation to get you to and from facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Pro/E or other CAD modeling, basic computer/Microsoft Office skills
- Good communication skills
- Interest in agricultural or automotive design
- Demonstrated hands-on mechanical experience (i.e. student design competitions, hobbies, etc.).
- Knowledge of Ag applications
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics preferred
