Extruded Solutions is Hydro's largest and most global business area. Our Business Area supplies aluminum profiles and profile-based solutions in various applications ranging from windows and furniture to cars and cruise ships. Within Extruded Solutions, we have business area staff functions based in Oslo, but we also have four core business units; Extrusion Europe, Extrusion North America, Building Systems and Precision Tubing.

Job Location: North Liberty, IN

Summary:

Must be able to pack extruded aluminium into bundles that meet the customer's requirements as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Quantity of metal being packed (must be able to maintain and understand the packing
  production goal)
• Must be able read a file of the customer packing specs.
• Must be able to set the pace for his partner to follow
• Accurate piece counts in bundles
• Must be able to read tape measure

Job Requirements:

• Needs good organization skills.
• Must be able to perform several tasks simultaneously.
• Must have ability to communicate (both written & verbal) and work well with all employees at all levels, willingness to learn new processes and work with limited supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Education and Work Requirements:

• Able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions.

• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Must be able to handle both large pieces and small pieces of aluminium extrusions
• Employee must be able to have good vision or corrective lens to see visual defects
