*Technical Details:* Start: ASAP Location: Baltimore, MD */This is an unpaid internship, however, we will meet school requirements for selected student to receive academic credit./* *Responsibilities:* / Fundraising:/ ? Work with leadership team, assisting with fundraising initiatives and analyzing fundraising plans ? Build out our end of the year campaign (join strategic meetings, create marketing materials, make donor and volunteer calls, etc.) ? Research donor prospects and granting organizations, attending strategic meetings, and distributing marketing materials. ? Work on identifying and integrating sponsors into our events and for our leagues /Events:/ ? Work with leadership team to develop and initiate end of the year fundraising events ? Assist Board members with local fundraisers ? Work with Events coordinator to organize logistics and flow of events ? Staff special events /Public Relations:/ ? Other duties may include assisting with capital campaigns, and general public relations. ? Communication tools - emails, newsletters, community presentations ? Assist with community outreach, including building relationships with professionals, updating the client information and referral database, and presentations within the community *Skills Gained Include:* ? Learning successful fundraising techniques and gaining hands learn fundraising best practises ? Learning about how a non-profit secures funding ? Provide an inside look at the day-to-day operations of a non-profit as well as the strategic decision making inherent in the responsibilities of a Development Director. ? Gain programmatic skills and a deeper level of understanding on nonprofit program work. ? Increase communication skills - written and oral. *Skills Needed:* ? Technical Skills - Word, Excel, Canva, ?
