We are looking for a Materials Analyst for our Seward, Nebraska plant to contribute to our Clean Air business group. In this role, you will be responsible to effectively predict and communicate product movement for product platforms as assigned. You will develop and execute forecast, inventory planning, replenishment orders or production schedules to provide outstanding delivery performance while meeting required inventory target.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Oversee the planning, control, purchase and expediting of raw materials and finished products in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Maximize the capital resources to meet departmental / corporate goals and objectives.
  • Control inventories of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Meet dollar targets on a weekly / monthly basis. Prepare weekly projected inventory report.
  • Contribute to the Total Value Management (TVM) program. Meet with Leaders, Managers and Engineers to review progress of current cost savings projects.
  • Identify areas of potential improvement for addition to the TVM program and / or identify cost take outs.
  • Drive efficient inventory reduction.
  • Review all plant usage factors on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Interface with Production relating to Plant capacity planning and development.
  • Monitor forecast performance and take appropriate corrective action as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
  • APICS Certification highly desirable.
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing materials role.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, and MRP systems required.
