Responsibilities

Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic Analog Electronics Design Engineer to join the Embedded Electronics Group. This is an electrical design engineering position that requires the ability to apply sound engineering principles for execution of complex board design projects within the Electronics Division.

The ideal candidate is someone who works well in cross-functional teams and has extensive experience designing precision, low-noise analog signal conditioning circuits within mixed-signal PCB designs. In this role, you will be part of the team designing the next generation of state-of-the-art sensor interfaces and control system electronics for strategic applications.

Core Responsibilities
- Analysis and design of analog, mixed-signal, sensor interface and control electronics

- Ability to perform detailed electrical analysis (transfer function derivation, stability analysis, noise analysis, error analysis, circuit model generation)
- Ability to perform schematic capture, and manage PCB layout design resources

- Simulation of analog designs using tools such as LTSpice, Matlab, etc...
- Prototype bring up and debugging
- Functional verification
- Development of circuit requirements

- Performance characterization

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- BSEE, MSEE preferred
- 7+ years overall experience
- Great EE fundamentals

- Expertise designing with op-amps, BJTs, MOSFETs, diodes, transformers, and other common analog circuits.
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills

- Desire to learn and investigate novel solutions to challenging circuit design problems

Security Requirement:

- Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

- Candidate is expected to be local and capable of working onsite. Remote work may be periodically allowed based upon program needs.
