Rate of pay for an experienced Maintenance Technician is $35.70 per hour. Plus night premium is another $.50 for second and third shifts. Most positions will start either on 2nd or 3rd (Monday through Friday) and the hours are 2:45 pm. to 11:15 p.m. or 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
Maintenance Technicians install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures as well as pipe and electrical systems. This requires following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings. It also requires the use of hand tools to repair, as well as test machinery and equipment to inspect and ensure proper functioning of machines. This is an advanced position that involves considerable knowledge of the varied machines and equipment noted under the principal duties and responsibilities section. All positions are responsible for contributing to a safe work place and minimizing negative environmental impacts by complying with the EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions outlined in the training assessment for this position.

We are looking for someone with Journeyman Maintenance status, or equivalent of approximately four to ten years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician. Additional numerical control or computerized numerical control machine experience is desirable along with hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience. A Highschool diploma or GED is preferred.
