Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Support the growth of and build future demand for nVent LENTON concrete reinforcement products in the Central Great Lakes Region, IL, MI, MN, WI, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE, KS, IN. This will be a 100% remote role located in the sales regi with travel up to 60% and normally 2-3 days a week overnight travel.

  • Work closely with nVent LENTON Regional Sales Managers to maximize sales and promote market expansion of the LENTON product line.

  • Promote nVent LENTON products to rebar fabricators, engineers, end-users, inspectors, contractors, and job sites to affect a sustainable market channel through specifying and demonstrating products from the LENTON product line.

  • Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve individual sales targets.

  • Effectively utilize the nVent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily to follow sale through to completion.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred)

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in technical sales or engineering. 5+ years preferred.

  • Knowledge of local building codes as well as an understanding Reinforced Concrete Construction or Precast market preferred

  • Construction and/or concrete industry experience preferred

  • Experience with a customer relationship management system, preferably Salesforce.com

  • Ability to build and implement sales plans aligned with the division's strategic vision

  • Skilled at effective written and verbal communications at both technical and leadership levels

  • Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships and establish credibility with business partners

  • Able to adapt to constantly evolving business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly evolving business environment

  • Comfortable working independently out of a home office

  • Current and valid driver's license required
