General Responsibilities:The Indianapolis office has an immediate opening for a Geotechnical Project Engineer to contribute to our leadership in the transportation industry. A Geotechnical Project Engineer will provide engineering and consulting services for an array of projects and clients. The Project Engineer will be expected to manage several projects from the proposal phase through project completion. This will include performing and/or providing oversight for field investigations, laboratory program management, engineering analysis/calculations, development of recommendations, design, plans and specifications, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided. Proposal preparation, project financial management, and client development will also be included in the engineer's responsibilities. Projects may include shallow/deep foundations, earthwork, slope stability, embankments, roadways, and retaining walls, among others. The qualified candidate will have sound engineering judgement and risk management capabilities. Indianapolis is the busiest transportation office in the company.
