Position Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage requests for proposals for critical/long lead time subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identify suppliers that serve business unit objectives within assigned categories
  • Develop and foster trusting relationships with suppliers to achieve better pricing and quality of services
  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and business trends
  • Developing, with input from internal customers, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to evaluate supplier performance
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers
  • Supplier Relationship Management, including periodic to frequent meetings with key suppliers within defined category, performance tracking, action plans, and communication plans
  • Develop strategic sourcing strategies / initiatives to support the buyout process
  • Develop procedures for mitigating commodity risk through hedge agreements/positions or similar strategies
  • Coordinate with Operations, Estimating and Purchasing to secure Purchase Orders for critical/long lead vendors needed to build project
  • Assist project management team with logistics planning and communications to subcontractors, suppliers, project personnel and the public as needed.
  • Lead and build a team of approximately 3 employees
  • Support project management team(s) with project start up, material delivery, schedules, and tracking
  • Education
    Bachelors Degree
    Position Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
  • Experience with vendor sourcing & management, job costing,
  • Able to effectively organize numerous streams of information
  • Deadline oriented
  • Experience with Data Management
