The Production Specialist is a broadly defined position where the responsibilities are based on different levels of skills and competencies.  A Production Specialist Team Member is working in a fast-paced environment in workstations that have required cycle times.  Team Members work in a culture that thrives on lean manufacturing principles both on and off the production line.

Responsibilities
  • Properly prepare a variety of surfaces for powder coating, to include steel, aluminum, other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories, and other surfaces to specified standards.
  • Evenly applying protective powder coatings to a variety of parts and weldments.
  • Regularly testing to ensure wash and paint quality is performed per specified standards.
  • Load a variety of different parts onto paint carriers in order to achieve required powder coating of parts and weldments.
  • Load and unload paint cure and dry off ovens according to specified standards.
Work Environment - frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and material moving equipment.
Noise level can be loud (ear plugs are provided).
