The White Construction team is looking for a Estimator to join the team.

The Estimator will work with a team to complete the due diligence necessary to estimate the cost of work associated with a project.  The Estimator will also oversee the client bid submittal process.

RESPONSIBILITES
  • Communicate with owners, subcontractors and vendors
  • Review and understand contract specifications and drawings
  • Identify, define and quantify potential project risks
  • Perform quantity take-offs and scope review for estimate preparation
  • Develop pricing based on historical production data
  • Evaluate and compare subcontractor/supplier quotes
  • Conduct site visits and perform research prior to bid
  • Assist other staff with subcontractor bid list preparation
  • Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience
  • Prior experience in earth moving, bridges, structural or underground utilities preferred  

Combination of equivalent education and work experience may be considered
 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be authorized to work in the US now and in the future without company sponsorship.

TRAINING
  • Safety and compliance training on the job.
