Seeking Clinical Nurse Coordinator!
Baptist Health Floyd, NICU/Women's HealthPart-time (24 Hours/Week), NightsBenefit EligibleJob Duties:In this role, the Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the department Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing services of the unit. Collaborates with Quality Manager to support quality initiatives and performance improvement activities.About the Department:The NICU provides level II care to infants as early as 32 weeks' gestation or 1,500 grams and above. The NICU is comprised of 6 rooms. The nurses treat Vapotherm and bubble CPAP ventilated patients up to 24 hours, PPN administration, umbilical lines, central lines, NAS monitoring and care. The NICU also accepts readmit infants from home for up to 30 days. There are three Neonatal NPs on staff, with at least one available 24/7. Qualifications:Graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Current Indiana or compact state RNLicense.BLS for Healthcare Providers required.NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).At least one (1) year of nursing experience required.Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred.Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience preferred.Baptist Health Floyd is a Pathway to Excellence designated organization.We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
