RESPONSIBILITIES
|
Training/Development
- Oversee the training and education initiatives for the plant
- Help identify training needs for all employees
- Assist with scheduling efforts
Recruiting and onboarding
- Manage the recruiting and interviewing efforts for the plant
- Attend local job fairs and/or university events as needed
Employee Relations
- Manage the investigations of all employee relations issues
- Handle all investigations in a confidential and timely manner
- Aide in conflict resolution
- Assists management in union avoidance activities
Performance and Talent Management
*Administer the performance review and employee development program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization.
Compliance
*Ensure all policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance with federal and state regulations
HR Services
*Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
|
- 4 year degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- HRCI or SHRM certification
- Leadership Training or Safety Training valuable
- 5-7 years prior Human Resources experience with progressive responsibilities
- 5 years management experience in a manufacturing environment
|
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Computer Proficient - MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to exercise sound judgment when making decisions
- Ability to plan and organize
- Ability to operate comfortably and effectively at all level within the company

- Ability to take initiative and be flexible

- Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule
- Able to ambulate fingers to operate a telephone and computer
- Traveling as needed for recruiting purposes

* Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements.
* Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
