WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Collaborate & Roadmap:Work with PMO to aggregate demand from internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a unified backlog and annual launch roadmaps that are aligned to Digital strategy, people goals and budget.

  • Plan:Develop annual budget to operate & maintain the platform and optimize the platform cost structure. Assist the digital business partners with business case development, solution optioning, technical feasibility and cost estimates. Develop robust tools to track and manage resource capacity and utilization within the team

  • Architect & Execute:Own the platform architecture including the fully integrated ERP ecosystem and develop a best-in-class approach towards ERP deployment & cutovers leveraging Agile methodologies

  • Innovate & Transform:Develop and disseminate a shared understanding of business capabilities that can be developed on the platform, and how they can be leveraged to solve business problems and transform nVent's operations. Assess technology trends and develop a "forward thinking" platform direction

  • Deliver Solutions:Provide hands-on technical expertise and team management. Work with platform users to translate business requirements into functional specifications, create required documentation, conduct required configurations, performing testing, and change management

  • Operate Platforms: Own defining and meeting platform SLAs around resiliency, stability, security, operations. Identify and prioritize technical launches/patches to ensure the continued health, stability, resiliency of the platform & minimize technical debt. Utilize application support ticketing system and knowledge community for seeking resolutions to application related issues.

  • Lead People:Manage, lead and grow technical and functional talent ensuring that team is right sized and has the right skills & knowledge to operate the platform

  • Partner:Owns vendor relationship and licensing; optimizes vendor ecosystem to meet platform SLAs and invest/divest depending on lifecycle roadmap. Develop relationships with external service providers to quickly extend resource capacity and/or to optimize support quality/cost.

YOU HAVE:

  • Ideally 7+ years of senior level experience in the functional areas of Oracle Applications and directly applying expertise with the business user community.

  • Previous experience in a Senior Business Analyst role.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or technical field or equivalent experience (10+ years)

  • Previous management experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle Applications data model and table structures.

  • Ability to build accurate, complex, nested Oracle SQL queries.

  • Managed several complex Oracle Applications implementation projects involving multiple sites, and full scope of functional and technical areas.

SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated aptitude to effectively communicate and constructively engage all organization levels, including ability to establish stakeholder preferences, build consensus and drive decision making.

  • Exhibit expert knowledge of a broad set of business functionality in such areas as sales, supply chain management, manufacturing, engineering, distribution, pricing, costing and finance.

  • Effectively manage team members as well as handle multiple initiatives and deadlines, and deliver high quality results.

  • Use of soft skills and initiative that demonstrates ownership and resolve to getting things done.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Mentor team members and key user community in a suitable manner that creates synergy and promotes an agile atmosphere.
