Responsible for checking parts and submitting parts to inspectors for Approval. This is a 2nd shift opening, and is eligible for an initial sign on bonus up to $15,000.00.Job Description
- Die setting
- Build and update process sheets for PM Compacting Presses
- Work with Engineering during new product development stages
- Complete Operation Productivity & Scrap sheets and verify for accuracy
- Process improvement projects as assigned
- Does record keeping vital for process setup
- Performs tool life studies as needed
- Assembles vital inspection equipment
- Helps operators, area leaders and maintenance trouble shoot operation of equipment
- Train and evaluate Mold Operators
- Maintain and report status of supplies at the operation line and inventory levels
- Keeps tools and supplies organized according to shopfloor criteria
- Reviews all tool breakage reports
- Operates compacting press as customer demand dictates and as assigned by the supervisor
- Release product to the next operation by following detailed instructions
- Identify, record problems, and recommend solutions
