Responsible for checking parts and submitting parts to inspectors for Approval. This is a 2nd shift opening, and is eligible for an initial sign on bonus up to $15,000.00.

Job Description

  • Die setting
  • Build and update process sheets for PM Compacting Presses
  • Work with Engineering during new product development stages
  • Complete Operation Productivity & Scrap sheets and verify for accuracy
  • Process improvement projects as assigned
  • Does record keeping vital for process setup
  • Performs tool life studies as needed
  • Assembles vital inspection equipment
  • Helps operators, area leaders and maintenance trouble shoot operation of equipment
  • Train and evaluate Mold Operators
  • Maintain and report status of supplies at the operation line and inventory levels
  • Keeps tools and supplies organized according to shopfloor criteria
  • Reviews all tool breakage reports
  • Operates compacting press as customer demand dictates and as assigned by the supervisor
  • Release product to the next operation by following detailed instructions
  • Identify, record problems, and recommend solutions
