Overview

Responsible for performing a variety of administrative and document control duties to support the activities of the Legal Department.

Responsibilities
    Act as administrative support for the Legal Team attorneys
  • Manage and respond to incoming legal requests; monitor deadlines, and update changes in status
  • Review and proofread various legal agreements and correspondence
  • Conduct compares and general review of various legal documents
  • Route documents for approvals and execution in accordance with the Company's authority matrix
  • Draft and assist in the preparation of correspondence, to include letters, notices and emails
  • Perform document control functions such as management of the legal Share Point repository
  • Manage Legal Team calendars
  • Manage the Legal Blog
  • Manage mail for the Legal Team
  • Coordinate Legal Team meetings
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually reporting as required by your supervisor
  • Update agreement templates & publishing as needed
  • Other items as assigned
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Two years' experience in an administrative role; previous executive assistant experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Zero Injury principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Familiarity working within Share Point
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative and meticulous attention to details
  • Ability to handle confidential information and communications in a secure and professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to deal with multiple assignments, to prioritize, and to progress assignments without constant oversight

Working Environment:

  • When visiting jobsites the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
  • This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
