POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support for our 2nd and 3rd shift teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will play a crucial role in supporting our employees during the evening and overnight hours. This position operates on a Monday through Thursday schedule, from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support for employees on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  2. Facilitate onboarding processes for employees joining the company during off-shift hours.
  3. Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  4. Assist in recruitment efforts for off-shift positions, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews as need it.
  5. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters, ensuring understanding and adherence.
  6. Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, performance evaluations, and training documentation.
  8. Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs and develop strategies for employee retention and engagement.
  9. Conduct training sessions for employees on HR-related topics
  10. Stay current on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
  11. Support employees with attendance and payroll.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on employee relations and HR generalist functions.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines.
  • Experience with HRIS & ADP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evening and overnight hours, Monday through Thursday.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Preferred:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, but not required.
