Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Chemical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem-solving and innovation. This role will involve working with our on-site chemical generation systems, collaborating closely with the research and development team, and providing remote support to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Install and commission chemical generation systems at customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Interface with units remotely to troubleshoot issues and provide timely support to local team members in diagnosing equipment problems.
  • Collaborate with the research and development team to modify and enhance the capabilities of our equipment, improving current processes and exploring new opportunities.
  • Conduct on-site testing and validation of equipment modifications and enhancements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of our systems.
  • Document installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct trialing of developing products and monitoring their impact to customer production units.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and support, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project deadlines and customer needs.Target 50% travel with 85% within the US, 15% in Canada.
