Responsibilities:

General Duties for All Attendants in all departments

  • Maintain accurate equipment check in and out procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned area and it's equipment following departmental specific guidelines
  • Return all equipment to the proper location
  • Report all equipment breakdowns according to departmental procedure
  • Enforce all safety guidelines that pertain to the assigned area on a constant and consistent basis

Youth Activities (aka Kids Watch) Attendant

  • Responsible for the safety, supervision and active entertainment of all children placed in the Kids Watch area, while parents/guardians are participating in Kroc Center activities.
  • Maintain readiness and cleanliness of the Kids Watch area by cleaning equipment, toys and play areas as determined by Policy and Procedures.
  • Ability to assist in any emergencies or accidents, filling out incident reports as needed.
  • Report any suspicion of child abuse to the Kids Watch Lead.
  • Verify membership and daily pass users.
  • Maintain daily observation logs and all paperwork related to the assigned shift.
  • Be aware of and apply concepts from the 40 Developmental Assets.
  • Inform the Kids Watch Lead of parents with warnings on their account (late fees, loss of name tags, etc.)
  • Adhere to RJKCCC operations as well as all policy procedures as adopted by Administration.
  • Attend staff meetings as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality
