Job Description:
The role of this individual would be a support role to the Greenfield, Indiana Yard and Shop needs along with supporting job site specific needs. The individual would need to have a hands on learning approach and already have some mechanical aptitude. The individual will work under direction of a shop superintendent and at times a field superintendent depending upon the assigned tasks.

Job Description:
The role of this individual would be a support role to the Greenfield, Indiana Yard and Shop needs along with supporting job site specific needs. The individual would need to have a hands on learning approach and already have some mechanical aptitude. The individual will work under direction of a shop superintendent and at times a field superintendent depending upon the assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Drivers license and mode of transportation
- Must be the age of 18 prior to the start work date
- Full time from Monday through Friday typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half hour lunch
- Some over time may be required
Work Activities:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Distributing received materials form job sites to designated storage locations.
- Utilizes independent judgment to ensure maximum utilization of materials and equipment.
- Inventory and reporting of company tools and equipment that come in and out of the yard.
- Cleaning and reconditioning of tools, trailers and equipment that is returned to the yard.
- Minor repair or maintenance of medium sized tools (i.e. small pumps, small generators, etc...).
- Inspection of and routing of equipment or tools that need to removed from service.
- Completion of job site assingments under direct supervision(i.e. pre-assembly of piping systems, building access stairs, building light wood form-work...).
- Travel to job sites for assistance as needed.
- General cleaning and organization of the shop and yard area.
- Assistance with office renovation projects.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills - all Microsoft applications and Viewpoint Software
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide cross section of individuals.
Training and Growth:
- Training on various tools and equipment will be provided
- Safety training around Construction Standards will be provided
- Opportunities to become more involved with field laborer, carpenter or operator roles
