Job Summary:

An experienced leader with deep experience in successful loss mitigation, delinquent account management, and recovery operations. Your primary responsibilities will be risk identification and mitigation; to prevent and reduce loan portfolio delinquency and charge off.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Lead the collections, vehicle repossessions, work outs, and winddowns through your support team

* Work closely with other teams across Kinetic Advantage, including legal, collateral audits, asset recovery, lending, and remarketing, as well as our field-based workforce

* Bring a well-rounded skill set to the table to ensure success

* The ability to manage the day to day, work in fast paced departments, while making the investment to recruit, interview, hire, support and develop the collections staff

* Keep informed of market changes and provide the guidance to course corrections as needed

* Seek out process excellence, innovative new tools, technology, and new data sources to continuously refine current processes

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Use employee engagement, creativity, strategic planning, and industry knowledge to help the company achieve its financial goals

* Lead a team of Proactive Portfolio Managers (PPMs) to achieve portfolio management goals, minimize loss expectations, and drive strong returns

* Execute on Kinetic Advantage's key initiatives by establishing time specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely goals for all assigned areas

* Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously while delivering quality work

* Ability to analyze data and make decisions to drive the Company's initiatives

* Develop a thorough understanding of Kinetic Advantage policies, processes, and procedures relative to assigned areas, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures

* Lead by example by providing timely, accurate, and courteous service to both our internal and external customers

* Frequently present key material to larger groups, such as loss and delinquency performance updates to executive management as dictated by current business conditions

* Understand the applicable laws and codes for relevant geographic areas and ensure that loss mitigation activities operate in compliance with them

* Become a subject matter expert on Kinetic Advantage's risk mitigation processes for field staff and lead/assist in their ongoing training to create an awareness of our loss mitigation tools, policies, and procedures

* Assist in the creation of a balanced mindset regarding profitability and loss avoidance for field staff

* Frequent travel to the corporate office

* Act as lead representative for Kinetic Advantage in vendor relationships related to your team

* Interact with delinquent dealers, as appropriate, and coordinate details with our Operations Team and others as necessary, to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently

* Responsible for special assignments and projects outside of the normal duties

* Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree preferred

* Five (5) years in automotive, collections or financial services industry required

* Three (3) years in supervisory or management position required

* Familiarity with concepts, procedures and processes typically used in automotive and financial services industries, particularly in delinquent account collections


Required Skills/Abilities:

* Ability to read and understand basic financial statements

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

* Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment

* Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong business relationships

* Strong presentation, written communication, and negotiation skills

* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

* Valid driver's license


Physical Requirements:

* Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time

* Must be able to communicate clearly

* Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, and move about an office environment

* Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee will, at times, be subject to outside environmental conditions

* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
