Position Overview:

The RN Senior Manager will manage various consulting engagements including planning, communication, quality controls, client relationships, resource needs, training, monitoring, deliverable preparation and project evaluation. The Health care Senior Manager will also provide subject matter expertise and oversight of resident medical record reviews related to the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and the CMS Quality Measures for nursing facilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and provide management on various consulting engagements
  • Conduct project planning and evaluate operational performance
  • Provide oversight of clinical long term care resident medical record reviews
  • Provide subject matter expertise related to the MDS and CMS Quality Measures
  • Develop a system of quality controls and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with professional standards
  • Develop engagement tools, resources, and reference materials
  • Analyze and report industry trends
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the management of the team, contract, and practice areas
  • Provide support and contribute to other engagements and teams
  • Cultivate new opportunities and/or services
  • Represent the firm at conferences, workshops, and other industry related events
  • Establish, develop, and monitor client relationships
  • Evaluate and ensure client satisfaction with work product
  • Recruit, develop and retain staff
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive information
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other related health care field preferred or equivalent experience (Associate's Degree from accredited nursing school with related experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
  • At least 8 years' of long term care or related experience required
  • Minimum 5 years' of supervisory experience required
  • MDS and CMS Quality Measure experience required
  • Experience and knowledge of State and Federal healthcare regulations in long term care
  • Knowledge of Medicaid reimbursement and coverage policies desired
  • Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients and internally at all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effectively multi-task with planning and efficiency
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively and comfortably operate in a team oriented environment
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity, client service and leadership skills
  • Ability to formulate business, technical, and operational strategies
  • Must be able to travel on occasion based on business and client needs

Work Style:

This is a fully remote position unless you live near one of our 20 office locations.Our general business hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, but can vary based on business needs. Dependent on performance, our in-office associates are eligible for a hybrid work schedule after their initial 90-day training period. As a company, we are always willing to discuss potential flexibility that an employee may need to better suit their work-life wellbeing.

In compliance with states that have an active pay transparency law, the annual salary target for this job in this market is $125,000-$135,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on education, experience and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
