Seeking Nursing Assistant!Baptist Health Floyd, Observation UnitFull-Time (36 Hours/Week), Nights (7pm-7am)

Job Duties:
The Observation Unit Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Observation Unit is a 32-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department and observes patients who are expected to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. This unit cares for a variety of patients including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. The unit is staffed with a provider between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM each day of the week to provide support and high-level care.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.
