Essential Functions

  1. Directs periodic communication to plant employees from Corporate HR and Payroll Departments throughout the year;
  2. Provides written communications to employees in a confidential manner;
  3. Providing Corporate HR and Payroll with employee file documents in a timely manner;
  4. Reviewing all employee paperwork to see that it is complete before turning over to the Corporate HR office for processing;
  5. Maintains plant bulletin board assuring that required postings are in place and up to date;
  6. Provide assistance to employees with medical insurance issues;
  7. Provide payroll assistance when needed;
  8. Provide assistance to plant management as necessary;
  9. Facilitation of company communication via email, telephone, etc.;
  10. Rotation to other team positions as deemed necessary;
  11. Maintenance of good housekeeping practices;
  12. Prepare Plant Credit Card DEEM reports monthly;
  13. Maintain any petty cash on site;
  14. Lead the Mentor Program onsite;
  15. Maintain onsite driver Logs, DVIR, and driver files;
  16. Maintain Fuel charges, Fuel receipts, and quarterly reports for accounting;
  17. Coordinate Volunteer Events for corporate initiative;
  18. Maintain WIT program & team recognition programs;
  19. Coordinate monthly plant meetings

  16. Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
  17. Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, however, potential direct reports are a possibility.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.

Travel

Local travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management, receptionist, front desk assistance
  3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a role requiring strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
  4. Ability to multitask with different requirements applying to the position.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
