Job Summary: Responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the Surveillance Department during assigned shift. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 - 2 years experience in Surveillance within a Casino Environment. Extensive Technical background with experience with VCR's, DVR's, Monitors, Camera's, etc. Service Standards: Providing a great genuine greeting, spectacular service, positive interaction with customers and a friendly farewell. Essential Job Functions:
  • Implement all approved procedures
  • Supervises, trains subordinates, schedules, and evaluates Operators
  • Supervises and coordinates activities related to surveillance of gaming tables, slot machines, cashiers, cages and slot booth operations including the visual/audio of the soft count room
  • Reviews and supervises all daily activities, reports and all related reports and prepares shift reports for the Director of Surveillance
  • Responsible for training all Surveillance Personnel
  • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Bally's internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be able to work in an environment with second hand smoke and loud noises
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises 2 to 6 employees in the Surveillance Department carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming Commission License.
