Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Utility Worker. This role will be responsible in assisting the operations of a production line.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Assist the operator and assistant operator to ensure all quality checks are completed and production orders are produced according to specifications.
• Bag and place product in designated warehouse areas.
• Handle the cores and core shafts.
• Grind scrap material to be reused or disposed of.
• Responsible to maintain housekeeping in area of work.
• Will be moved to different production lines and areas as needed.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
• Must have stable work history
• Must be safety conscious, able to understand and adhere to all Department and Plant rules, regulations, and notices.
• able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and production employees.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and document quality readings.
• Will be required to operate a forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles. Must be cost conscious at all times.
• Able to stand for long periods of time; up to 12 hours; stooping, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, climb ladders, and able to lift weights of 80 lbs. Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Equipment such as forklifts and hand saw; must be able to move throughout the facility as needed; use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all required times and follow all safety rules; must be able to accurately read a tape measure; must be able to read, write and understand directions in English.
