WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to support the development of the hourly workforce at the site. This role will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, an overseeing training programs for production employees. Initiatives are focused on the operations, logistics, quality and safety functions at the site to assess training needs, develop training materials, schedule training sessions, and evaluate training effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communications skills, as well as a passion for employee development.

Your area of responsibility:

* Partner with department supervisors and trainers to drive execution of training programs

* Coordinate training activities including job related training, functional training and other training as identified schedules for training sessions, including venues, arranging equipment, and ensuring availability of trainees with their supervisor

* Select appropriate training methods or activities (on-the job training, presentation, video, testing, etc.)

* Communication of training schedules and requirements to employees, managers, and trainees

* Perform instructional classroom and practical hands-on training in all safety procedures, quality assurance, print reading and nVent specific processes

* Ensure appropriate use of training templates for the site on SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), WI's (Work Instructions), and standard work templates and standards

* Monitor training attendance and participation.

* Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback surveys

* Update training materials and programs as needed to reflect changes.

* Maintain site list of Subject Matter Expert trainers

* Maintain training records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

YOU HAVE:

* High school diploma or GED. 2 year degree preferred

* 3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

* Proficient skills using the Microsoft Office and related applications

* Ability to train within the skills of fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization

* Comfort in facilitating training methods involving individuals or groups

* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize time/workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines in a self-directed manner

* Demonstrated skills in attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials

* Ability to influence and motivate others across multiple levels within the organization
