Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $18.00 - 20.00

What you'll do:

The Inventory Control Clerk position is responsible for processing inventory transactions in Acctivate ERP system. Performs random cycle as needed. Receive inventory from vendors as well as transfers from Strobes-r-us facilities. This position is also responsible for Kitting vehicle build setups and providing kits to the installation bay on an as needed basis.

* Receive UPS and Fedex type shipments from vendors and other strobes-r-us facilities

* Process material transfers between stockrooms

* Receive and unload freight truck shipments using a forklift.

* Verify count, print and install barcode labels on incoming inventory.

**Verify and print vehicle build sheets for the installation bay

* Create vehicle bins (kits) and place them on the shelf in the inventory room for upcoming builds

* Assemble basic components such as arrow sticks and label siren controller touchpads

* Use hand held scanner to properly pick parts

* Performs random cycle counts

* Communicate potential parts shortages with the Material Planner and inventory manager

* Compile inventory accuracy detail based on the cycle counting

* Order consumables such as silicone, zip ties, paper, electrical connectors, and wire rolls

* Process material receiving transactions as needed

* Special projects as assigned

* Lead and active participation in year-end inventory count process.

* Re-stock wire roll racks and hardware bins as needed to ensure a constant supply for the bay

* Communicate with vendors when a component arrives damaged.


What you need to be successful:

* HS Diploma or GED Required

* Basic understanding of ERP and the production process

* Able to follow established procedures

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Strong computer skills

* Strong organization and time management skills necessary to manage competing demands
