Job Summary

Technical Associate - Dock area.
wage range : $15.81 -$16.83 per hour.

Job Description

  • primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for coordination of all outbound shipments. (verify packaging, shipping documents, arranging for transportation, loading/unloading truck as necessary, completion of paperwork and electronic records)
  • Responsible for coordination of incoming shipments: (verify quantities/packing list, notification to target department/individual, storage/cataloging of material as appropriate, retrieval of manufacturing supplies from stock as required)
  • Accurate maintenance of computer inventory records
  • Assist with parts warehouse management, handling incoming parts and order picking, inventory control functions. Identification, pulling orders and packing orders, accurately.
  • Maintains overall inventory accuracy; implements corrective actions when required.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of receipt processing and verification from vendors of quality and conformance to all delivery requirements.
  • Assists in salvage of damaged or used material.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Details

  • Qualifications include.
  • High School Diploma
  • 0-2 Years experience
  • Ability to read, write and use basic math.
  • Functional knowledge of ORCALE and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attendance is an essential factor.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds frequently and items up to 50 pounds.
  • Operation of fork truck and powered pallet-lift is required.
  • Teamwork and cooperation with co-workers are essential.
  • Compliance with all company policies and work procedures is required.
  • Management of hazardous chemical storage within work area.
  • Compliance with all company safety rules and work policies is required.
