Job Overview

In this position, we are looking for a self-starter Regional Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive first time complete service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Highlights of your role
    Provide post-install field diagnosing, repair, and service support for Marvin Replacement windows and doors.
  • Professional, timely communication with all customers and Marvin Replacement support staff that will allow us to fulfill our mission of delivering a delightful customer experience.
  • Efficient time management, detail oriented and onsite service resolution that meets our stated service goals and the needs of our targeted customer.
  • Clear, concise jobsite documentation that provides insight to the inside support staff to facilitate timely closure of all service requests.
  • Manage and maintain company issued assets, i.e. trucks, tools, phone and computer/notepad.
  • Provide supplemental support to Warehouse and Project Managers when appropriate, such as, but not limited to, assisting with deliveries, material purchasing/preparation, inventory, and project staging.

Salary Range
$24 - $28 per hour, pay based on experience
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • Window and door product knowledge; a good background in construction and installation practices.
  • A positive can-do attitude with the ability to think outside the box to resolve service issues.
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to deliver a difficult message and manage customer expectations.
  • Regional travel may be required, with some overnight stays on occasion and depending on preference and assigned region.
Also want to make sure you have
  • High school diploma and 3-5 years of construction background.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of position including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding.
  • Dependable, solid work ethic and a self-starter.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Marvin computer programs and systems.
  • Must have the ability to make sound decisions that impact the company from a financial standpoint.
